Operating Instructions
  • Adjust the height of the microscope to achieve correct working distance according to your auxiliary lens if applicable (4 ~ 7).
  • Place a sample under the microscope. Adjust the distance between the eyepiece tubes in order to fit your inter-pupil distance, this is complete when you see one complete circle through the eyepieces. This step ensures that you will not get a double image.
  • Adjust ocular ports to zero (0).
  • Zoom in to the highest magnification by turning the magnification knob to the largest setting (3).
  • Look through the eyepieces and focus on the sample by turning the focus knob located on the e-arm/found mount until image appears clear.
  • Adjust zoom knobs to the lowest magnification, the image should stay focused.
  • If image does not stay focused, adjust each individual eyepiece by turning the adjustment on the eyepiece tube. If microscope is set up correctly your image should stay in focus throughout the entire range of magnification.
